Today is the day that I found out Gentry LOVES me because I know how to google stuff! He couldn't figure something out on his computer so I googled to find the answer and I quote "I am so glad you are my wife" my response "Why??! because I know how to google?!?!" So ladies if you ever need to impress your husband just google something, it makes you look smarter!

Also I MIGHT have some haters, but I am SO HAPPY that the SUNS aren't playing right now! I don't know if I could handle all this football and basketball ALL THE TIME!!!

Holidays are my favorite! My favorite holiday is My Birthday and to follow is Easter, St Patties Day, and Halloween! Sadly once again this year I didn't get around to decorating for Halloween but we did have a Halloween Din Din followed but PUMPKIN CARVIN! It is my absolute favy fav to carve pumpkins!

I have noticed lately what a worrier he is of me! If you know us Lemire's we have the smallest bladders ever! Every night I go to the bathroom at least 5 times before I actually can start to fall asleep and I get up in the middle of the night 1 maybe 2 times to go again. Well in the middle of the night, it never fails he asks if everything is ok and if I don't answer he asks again! Kinda cute right? It is such a small thing he knows happens every night but he still makes sure I am ok!

Single digits! Holla!!! Its like I am counting down to getting married again, its pretty cool! It has me so excited! Anyways.... Gentry wants a dog.... me not so much! Not because I'm not an animal person its because I get way to attached to animals. He likes outside dogs, I prefer them to be inside dogs. For example my brother jokingly said that he was going to take his dog Gracie down to my dads shop to be the new guard dog! I was livid and argued with him for days and cried a little! I mean Gracie would be completely lost there and she is a family dog not a guard dog! Now for the real reason I don't want an animal, I have NO time to care for it, love it, or play with it! It would have the absolute most boring life known to man kind if I was its owner! Maybe when we have some time to train and love on it we'll get one but for now it will just stay the 2 of us!

Gentry always thought he would marry a blonde hair blue eye'd girl... Turns out he got the completely opposite, brown hair green eye'd girl. He said he always thought that because that's "his type", but when we go through his old girlfriends he only dated like 2 blondes! Apparently he didn't really know his type! But for me I have always dated a blue eye'd boy, I never noticed this until I sat and thought about it! Crazy huh?!?! I kinda liked darker skin but I got me a real white boy, he does tan real well tho!

We are horrible at documenting our life!! We have made it a goal starting... well now to start taking pictures of the things we do! We have had some great trips and outings that we have probably 2 pictures of! Our last trip to California we took 1 picture! Yup just 1!! We are good!!! Maybe if we did start taking pictures you could enjoy more then just our lovely wedding pictures!!!

The Mr. is such a dedicated worker! Not many would wake up at the crack of dawn to go to work, but mine does! He is an AMAZING sales guy! I see all of his hard work and how much he really cares about being successful! He is always worried about making sure we are well taken care of financially! I couldn't ask for anything more! He is the greatest and I'm grateful for him!

Getting my hair played with is ONE of MY MOST FAVORITE past time EVER!!!! Its unfortunate that at times while laying on my side my leg starts to fall asleep so I have to move and I am no longer in a position for him to play with my hair!

Gentry is such a happy person in the morning! Well lets say I didn't get the nick name "Grumpy Monkey" for no reason! I am not a morning person, never have been and most likely won't ever be! He says he is going to change me...it has yet to happen! I wish I was happier in the morning, but to my defense I have my mornings planned out in my head to a T and I don't have time to waste talking, so I choose not to respond until I am finished! :)

Gentry is a huge fan of Chinese Buffets, sadly for him I am not!! He eats all kinds of junk there! I stick to Mexican Food... or should I say Americanized Mexican Food!

As a young child I was sealed to my family in the Mesa, Arizona Temple! I was just 5 and didn't remember much except for me getting to pick out my dress and tights without my mom telling me yes or no! It was the greatest! If any of you knew me growing up you would understand my excitement in this area because my mom had me and Amanda match like we were twins! Everywhere we went we matched! Anyways that's just a little side note! Temples have always had a special place in my heart! I love to see the temple and go inside! On our honeymoon the Laie Hawaii Temple was under construction! I was bummed but we still got to do the walk through which was great.

I am happy to say I was married to my best friend in a small simple ceremony with family in the Mesa Arizona Temple on November 6, 2010. I happy to know I will be with him forever!

Gentry has this girl that likes him. It's very interesting because I can't be jealous because she is blood related to me! Sister Sue, Shelbie, loves this kid! Its quite entertaining to me! Its nice to see how he plays her and makes her happy! Last Friday we went to the park with my sisters and Lance and the kids and played Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee and the whole time Shelbie had to be by Gentry or she had to go show her Gentry something! She will have a rude awakening when he has a little girl of his own! I bet she won't be replaced tho... she has a special place in that kids heart!

I absolutely love playing card games! One in particular, NERTZ!! I am way competitive, but I also have a soft heart and when people are losing I can't help but want to help them so I do and people get annoyed! So if anyone ever wants to have a game night I'm down!!!

On our wedding day we were unaware that we needed escorts so we didn't ask anyone to come but when we got in we realized it and I hurry and text Brandi to come so she did. I think the temple worker was unaware that my escort had made it to the big day and sent her away and took over getting me ready for the ceremony. Once the lovely ceremony was over we went back to get in my dress and she once again took over which wasn't a big deal but you know kinda took the moment away from having my sister there, luckily Brandi stood there waiting as the lady laced my dress up and we exchanged some weird faces, but get this Brandi was holding my dress in the back and the lady comes and takes over that too and STEPS on its and RIPS the thing that holds the train up in the bustle. Luckily I was still in temple so I kept calm but the rest of the night I had my huge train to hold on to! It was a bummer but a pretty memorable day at that! :)

I look at my wedding pictures just about every time I get on the computer! Why?!?! I have no idea but I don't mind the smile it puts on my face!

This kid IS a genius! Yes I do refer to him as kid, but I don't think he acts like a kid if that makes any sense. I also call him chief and I don't consider him the boss of me! You know its kinda those pet names babe, baby, honey... I just choose to call him chief. :) Back to my post... There will be times when he is talking to me and I literally have to stop him and ask him what a word means because he uses the most excelled vocabulary of all time. He also graduate with a 4.2 which is well above my.... well I'm not going to state my GPA but well above it! I will teach our kids the ropes of crafting, cleaning, and being cool....and he will teach our kids how to excel in school! This sounds like a great team here!

This could possibly be a little embarrassing for him but nonetheless I must share! He talks to himself/the TV all the time. Example, we were eating dinner today and he was responding to the announcer on the the television while watching the ASU game, I turned to him to ask who he was talking to and his response was... MYSELF, well actually I'm just responding to the announcer! Who does that?!?! It cracks me up! Not only does he do it while watching TV but he does do it while he is deep in thought as well, OR when I'm not listening to him!!

He loves the water! Anything that includes water will put a smile on this guys face! Whether its fishing, spear fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, cliff jumping or even just swimming he loves it!!! Its funny because it is total opposite of me, I don't like water all that much! I'm afraid of huge open water! I'm not the best swimmer so that does play a huge factor and I freak out when I can't touch the bottom of the ocean! Most times when we want to vacation he almost always picks a place with water! I on the other had don't mind staying on land and site seeing!

WE LOVE ICE CREAM!!! You can ask my dear seeester Brandi, she actually makes fun of me and him and tells us we can't go a month without eating ice cream! We probably eat it 5 out of 7 days of the week! There has never been a time where there wasn't ice cream in our freezer!
{we have had ice cream, but no actual food in our fridge, we have a problem}
He is a lover of Bluebell and I don't mind the brand just as long as its not Breyers that stuff is chalky!! I'm a sucker for Peppermint, if there isn't peppermint its almost always cookies and cream! He is more of a fruity ice cream eater, sometimes he craves some tasty chocolate but more times then not its a fruity desire he has! This bad habit probably doesn't help our weight loss buttttttt it is very satisfying to the tummy!

I have got a mountain man on my hands! This kid is always wanting to go camping! I'm pretty sure every week he asks me if we can go camping!
{maybe I'm a tad bit of an exaggerator but not as much as you may think!}
Lets make it known that I am not very nice and we have only been camping probably once since being married... but for him on the other hand goes regardless if I go. He is a hard core camper! Like tent, cook in the fire pit, and never wash up at all. When I camped as a young child I slept in a camper with heat, cooked on a propane stove, and my mom would heat up water so we could wash up. {I sound spoiled, but really I'm not} So as you see we did things a little different has youngin's but.... I'm sure someday we will be able to combine our lovely camping ideas together where we both can enjoy the wonderful outdoors and go hiking for fire sticks! *I'm really good at hiking for fire sticks!*

Lets see.... what should I share today?!?!
My husband is an amazing runner times 10! {he would never tell anyone how good he really is, he thinks he isn't good at all} For years now he has been trying to convince me to run with him. If anyone knows me I am beyond competitive and when I can't beat someone at something, lets just say I'm a sore loser. Well it has taken a lot of convincing on his part to get me to start running with him, because in my head why should I run with him if I'm just going to be way behind and never even come close to his speed. Well he has a goal to beat the turkey at the Turkey Trot this year and I have a goal to actually run the Turkey Trot all the way! I'm half way there and slowly getting better! I have definitely learned to lessen my competitive side and just enjoy what I am accomplishing!

We were running the other night and witnessed this super cool accident. We were the only ones who saw it. We were running down a street everyone speeds down but this one car was going at least 55+ miles a hour. We don't know what happened to make them spin out of control but they did, my own thoughts is they flipped out when they noticed us running because they didn't see us at first and it shocked them, but gentry thinks they were going to fast to be able to control themselves when they were turning the corner. Regardless they spun out of control and did a 180 and slid into an apartment complex brick wall. We went to check on them to see if they were ok and they said they were so we continued on our run because we didn't have a phone and assumed they would take care of it since a ton of people were coming out of the apartment complex and saw them. We were running on the canal and saw a cop driving up and they asked if we had seen 2 black guys running! The guys that crashed ran from the scene of the crime, how crazy is that?!?! We don't know what has happened since then but I have never actually seen a car accident happen before, it was nerve racking!!

{This is when I ran a 5k for 2 sister 1 heart, it was on Valentines day, that's why I have heart socks on}

He is beyond a lover of sports! Yes, I knew this going into this marriage but I didn't know the extent of this! I knew he was a huge fan of the SUNS, but when we got cable he actually ordered it and got the sports bundle.... well now he is a fan of Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Rugby and probably sometime soon he will become a huge fan of Golf, Tennis, Hockey or other sports out there. If a sport is not playing on our television it is some creepy alligator show, survival show, or auction hunters. {I have to admit I do like auction hunters, but the rest of these shows get pretty old}

Day 30.........

I decided that it would be good for me to write down the things I have learned about us as the Shumway's and us individually in this year of being married. Sooooooooo I am going to do a count down to our 1 Year anniversary!
***30**** It drives me absolutely BONKERS when I am eating with people and I can hear A. their saliva when they chew B. they scape their teeth on their utensil C. they scrape their glass plate a billion+ times D. when I can see their food that they are eating on their plate and what they are eating in their mouth E. when they CHOMP or SLURP LOUDLY!!!!!!
{he may or may not be doing the last one a lot lately with ice, I may ban him from it if it continues} Funny story about this, yesterday we were watching tv and he made thee ever so annoying slurping sound with his ice and of course I say that's enough!! and he looks at me with the most innocent face known to man kind, like I didn't mean to, I was trying so hard to be quiet look and I couldn't help but giggle inside! I know its not that big of a deal but you know when you have that thing that just bugs you so much you can't get over it, well peoples eating habits is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves!

I need to learn some Spanish

Because I'm going here in 36 days!



I have a ton of emotions going on but I'm excited for this little 2 week journey that we are going on. Gentry actually served his mission in Buenos Aires so we are going to see his mission and visit some of his friends! I know there is really no way I'll become an amazing spanish speaker in a month but...... I need to learn a little somethin just in case i get lost! :)
