MISS COMMUNICATION!

This is what i got to do today!! Hip Hip hurray!! The trees are so pretty why would they want there leaves to fall off... i can only think of one reason.... SO I HAVE TO RAKE THEM!! I love yard work... but raking leaves is not my favorite! It reminds me of over the summer when we were at the Grandma and Grandpa Freeman's Cabin and we were raking up pine needles... all the cousins were suppose to help... but it ended up being ME and EMILY!! Do you remember that Emily, our battle wounds? Im sure you do and I will never forget them!! We just showed how tough we are against all the other guys... except Blake... im not gonna lie he did help by yelling at them.. That was a nice stroll down memory lane but back to the story...This is what the yard looked like before me and Amanda got started! Its like snow but with leaves! :)



See here these 2 trees have VERY bad communication! (this is after we were done)


The 1st tree knew that it would make my life sooooo much EASIER if it let all its leaves fall off which is the GOOD tree!


The 2nd one on the other hand is STUPID!! See it still has all its dang leaves on it!! how retarded is that!!! but i have to admit that it looks so pretty!


So this tree is on my HATE list! I have to go back in a couple days to rake them up!! Hmmm you better have them all come off or else you will hear from me!!!!! The END!!!

CUTENESS!!!

Well today we were making christmas cookies... well i am no good!!! I had to make 2 different batters for chocolate chip cookies... CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES PEOPLE!! Those are the EASIEST! And i seem to screw them up! haha and i went to make these chocolate pretezel cookie things and those were not working either!!!! MICHELLE i need some help!!! I cannot cook/bake worth crap!!!!! Anywho me and your son will greatly appreciate it if you helped me!! :)

She is finally here!!!! 7 lbs 14 oz! And so CUTE!!!! And is a Thanksgiving Baby!! We are all very thankful that everything went ok and that Sommer and the baby are doing good!

oh HAPPY DAY!

So today Blake left for Argentina! So does anyone know what that means... oh ya i do! He got to call! Probably the greatest day since he left! Besides the first letter i got! haha anyways it was awesome to talk to him! He sounded so different to me, like his voice had changed, so I made him talk to Brandi for a little bit to see if it was just me and she says he sounds the same, but i still think he sounds different! It was fun catching up and actually talking to him rather than reading his letter (which also came today) and trying to figure out what his voice sounds like... I was kinda forgetting, maybe thats why it sounded so weird to me!
The first call i received was pretty dang short but oh well. It was when he was leaving Utah for LA! It was only like 3 minutes long but for half of that time i was trying to figure out who i was talking to. I was like is this really Blake because it doesn't sound like you at all! But it ended up being him, figures, who else would be calling me from Utah! haha
My next call took way too long! So of course my emotions let loose and i found myself crying in the computer room, waiting and waiting and waiting.. I didn't know what to do with myself! I played on the computer for a little bit, watched some TV, folded my laundry, kept texting Bryce "Did he call yet" (Im sure he got way annoyed with me), and paced back and forth! Who knew it would take so long to get to LA from Utah... definitely not me!!! But then I got the call, everything was SO much Better! It was great talking to him for longer than 3 minutes this time! haha! He asked me what I was doing and sadly i had to tell him the same thing I was doing the first time he called at 7:53 oh just laying in my bed! He's all wow your quite lazy today! Geeee Thanks Blake! Little does he know i did all my chores yesterday so I could sit and wait for his call because I didn't feel like figuring out the time differences! :)
But I must say I am one Happy Girl! until.... Christmas! I get to talk to him again! EXCITING x10!

BULL WHAT...?!?!?!?

That would be BULL ELK of course!! haha tonight I went to Blakes house to read a letter he sent last week... I know a little late but I was a little bit occupied with my sisters baby shower.. which will be a whole different post, but back to the elk. I walk through the front door and sitting in its own chair is his elk!!! I was freaked out at first because the lights were off and only the tv was on and no one was home and all i saw was some huge thing in the corner. Brandi walks in after me and is flustered as well, we go to turn the light on and this is what we see...

Yup this is the elk he killed a couple months before he left... well not exactly a couple months... he killed it in November of 2007. isn't that cute he even has his own chin rest!! haha! it is huge.. this picture does not give it justice!
So even though i had seen it the day before Blake left, I walked up and was examining it! They sure did do a good job! He killed a good one don't you think?
I took this picture in remembrance of Blake because he has big nostrils just like the way they did his elks... I thought it was pretty funny! Brandi wanted me to stick my finger up its nose! YUCK-O!!!

This is my new best friend... Haha not for real but I am so proud of him!! Im glad Blake got to see it before he left, he would've been upset if he hadn't! Once again he's awesome.. I still have the voice mail on my phone from when he called me to let me know he got one! He was so proud! Haha what a guy!
P.S. He is doing FABULOUS!!! He loves it like no other! He is learning so much and having great experiences! And is so proud that he actually stayed up for the FULL 10 hours of conference! ;)! Well he didn't have much of a choice but haha whatever floats his boat! haha I sure do love that boy! Well thats about it! I hope you all enjoyed that story!

Blake Update!

Well the last couple of days I have been missing Blake a little more than usual! Its such a difficult thing but Im sure grateful for his decision when he could've just taken the easy way out! He is so wonderful holy cow, Im being lame and girly! But you never realize how much you care for someone until they are gone! But I will tell you everything he has told me! He is doing fabulous with his spanish, he and his companion Elder Kirk had to practice knocking on doors, (when I think they should've been clapping because thats what they do in Argentina but thats my own thought!) and they set up an appointment all in SPANISH he says! At night they have 45 min to get ready for bed but supposedly it only takes him 2 min to get ready for bed so with the extra time they play pig with a stolen basketball hoop! He has won 2 games and is very proud of himself! He has lost 5 pounds... maybe more. Haha and he should have listened to is smart girlfriend... he says "I don't mean to sound needy, but my call said to bring conservative ties, i brought boring ties, could you please send me one or two new ties with some life in them!" So of course that night i went and bought him 3 new ties! haha But thats about it for now! He is doing good and im very proud of him! (he sent me pictures but i have to scan them before i can put them on so be lookin for them! it may be a littel bit! sorry) oh p.s. only 101 sundays to go!! HIP HIP HURRAY! :)

Look how fabulous my friends are... this post is a little late but hey atleast im doing it! It was the day Blake went into the MTC and of course I was down but trying to show a happy face. After theory at school I was going to my station and there were these flowers and a basket with 2 paydays which i love right now, starbursts, a sunflower to put in my hair, a memory book, and a beautiful card! Thank you Brein, Amy, Stephanie, Paula Jean, and Chara! You guys are awesome and made my day so much better! Thank you for thinking of me! You guys are the greatest!

Is it September 10th ALREADY?!?!

The day i have been waiting for and dreading has finally come. Blake has been preparing for his mission for the past 3 months and he finally left TODAY at 5:30 am. The funny thing is that i woke up an hour before he even woke up and i didn't even go to the airport... lets just say i was a little nervous for him. It has been a hard couple of days... but also very memorable. We have had so much time to spend together, that it has made it kind of hard to not be with him. Lets just say i feel as lost as can be... like im missing my other half. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to experience in my life! Im very greatful for his decision to serve his mission! He doesn't know this but he is the greatest example to me! He is one goofy boy... but he cares about everyone and anything, he loves to please people, is always willing to help, and very determined to get things done! I know he is going to be the greatest missionary and that everyone will love him! We always joked that he was going to threaten the investigators to convert, but truly i know he will be the most caring and understanding person to the people of Argentina! I will try to keep everyone updated about what is happening with him... as far as i know he made it in well and didn't even look back! He's going at it full force and isn't messing around! Beginning!

Hey everyone.. I just decided i needed to make a blog because I love reading everyone else's and i well need something to keep me busy with all my worries, stories, and exciting moments going on with me and whats happening with Blake on his mission in ARGENTINA! When i first made it he asked me, "You are making me one right?" haha he wants to be like all the other missionaries he knows. So of course he will have one too, if its me, his sister, or his mom that does it! Oh goodness.. enough about the mission. It makes me sad! But I have had the greatest time this summer.. haven't done anything really exciting to anyone else, but i have enjoyed it so much. I have gone camping with Blakes family twice and it has been a great experience for me. I have gotten to hang out with his sister Emily a lot.. we are ADDICTED to puzzles!! and he hates it! haha parts of me just likes to annoy him so i just do the puzzles to bug him... I think he knows that tho! His mom always makes the best food... love the cinnamon biscuits!! MY FAVORITE!! I love them... they are wonderful people!! His grandma and grandpa make me so happy.. It never fails whenever we leave his grandma tells me she loves me! If anyone knows me i have never really had grandparents in my life and i was fine with that, but now that Blakes grandparents have been so good to me I don't know what I would do without them!
