When I look at you...

Ok so The Last Song is pretty much my favorite movie... It honestly melts my heart! I know ridiculous, its just a movie, but for real who doens't love it! Here are some reasons why A. i love this song by Miley even tho she doesn't really shut her mouth ever and B. why the movie is amazing

1. So many parts remind me of Gentry, Like when Mr. Hottie totally starts singing in the truck, oh my goodness i could not help but get a huge smile on my face because even tho he wasn't good at all it was soooooo stinkin adorable

2. The little boy is dang adorable and pretty much the best actor in the movie. He is the reason I teared up.

3. It reminds me to look at the good in everything and stop focusing on the bad. It helps me look at each day as a new day and reminds me to be grateful for the time I have with my mom.

4. Liam Hemsworth is breath taking! Oh my goodness...

5. It was just a well made movie and makes me happy! Thats all for now!

Good news everyone... I just wanted to let you know this {boy} makes {me} way happy!

I was just looking through his facebook profile pictures and admiring his good looks so i thought i would share some... im sure he wouldn't mind.. he loves {girls} oogling over his handsome face.. he told me so himself... haha just kidding.. {maybe!}

4x4-ing mishap

So saturday some friends and i decided to go shooting... well i asked Kyle (Gentry's brother) if there was any place to 4 wheel while out, he told me there was so i got super excited. We were near Queen Valley.. A. I have never heard of this place and B. I didn't have a good feeling about it when we passed the NO TRESPASSING sign, but i continued to follow anyways... we reached the point of no return... Literally... First of all they had us driving in a dang creek and then wanted to turn around when it was a one lane area... So me thinking Im a 4x4-ing champ backed up on this slope so the other car could get past so i could just follow him out... well the unexpected happened... and while going down i got stuck on a dang tree... HOW EMBARRASSING! (trust me i really know what im doing... it was just one of those fluke accidents!! )

(ps this isn't me, this is a girl named Megan, just didn't want you to think i went blonde or anything)

If that isn't bad enough I put it in 4x4 drive...... and....... dum dum dum..... the light doesn't come on... (YET another concern i had...i even thought to myself earlier that day to check the straw) ya straw... 2 4x4-ing trips ago my dad fixed my 4x4 drive with a Q.T. straw.. haha creative.. i like to say white trash.. but heck it worked. SO then i decided to test the straw and see how long it would last... well ladies... and maybe gentleman it lasted a whole whopping 2 trips the 3rd it failed me! (3rd being this trip im talking about). See if i were to have checked it this nonsense probably would've never happened... or maybe it would've but my truck would've taken it like a champ in 4x4 drive! but nooooooooooo the straw had to crack and mess the day up. The other car ended up getting me out but due to the lack of space to turn around it got stuck once again... *at this point i started bawling and Bret or Kyle i can't remember proceeded to tell me its ok we'll atleast get it out in 2 pieces..* ps guys thanks for the words of comfort!

At that point i had enough and walked off with my cheap chocolate verizon phone in hand searching for service so i could call my dad... *yup ran to my dad for help* haha well i couldn't get enought service so i texted him that both cars were stuck and where i was... well sorta the area i was in.. i hadn't paid enough attention to exactly where we were, and prayed he'd get the text... well it said sent and then i heard someone calling my name... it was Gentry and he said the sheriff saw them and told them he was coming around and giving us all trespassing tickets... uhhhhh so at that point i started freaking out... HELLO i can't afford another ticket this year... so i went back to my car and didn't get a text back until i said hey its getting late and i don't want to be stuck here all night im going to get ahold of my dad and he'll get me out... Gentry and i headed back up the mountain and to our surprise there was the sheriff.... with "The Beast" (a towing company) right behind him.... now i was getting excited but not excited for ticket or charge for towing my car out....

Well luckily we had 2 single girls to flirt it up with the ever so popular sheriff... im not aloud to say his name... but note he is a celebrity and has been on tv for a gun shot wound. haha well he ended up being a nice guy and the only thing we had to pay for was the towing... which was $80 a car.... Boy im so happy im out of that situation and have learned from it!

Well my car has some damage, I think when the towing guy was pulling my car out my wheels were turned so it bent something that messed up the steering.. also my battery flew into my power steering fluid and busted it and also melted part of my battery.... haha oh well... it wouldn't be a 4x4-ing trip with out some damage.

Well my dad ended up coming but never really found us due to my lack of communication, but once i got out i called him and waited for him to drive my car home so he could see if anything else was wrong... I drove his car home and while on the free way i was driving behind him and im tires had so much sand in them that a rock flung up and cracked his wind shield... haha ooops!! and yesterday i drove his 4 runner to church and i turned it off and the radio decided it wasn't going to go off.... lets just say it wasn't my weekend for cars..

SpRinG TimE!!!

I was told that if i want people to see my new updated blog then i should write a new post so here goes!

To start spring off the correct way (which in the past I really have never had a spring break! I always worked instead) I went to Carlsbad California with a group of friends! Let me tell you it was quite the eventful trip! We left Saturday March 13th at around 8:30 in the morning! We made it there at about 4ish and set up camp and then me and Gentry headed to the beach to walk around. This wasn't my first time at the beach... sure I had been before but never did i go completely in the water and knowing who I was with I knew I had to suck it up and get in sooner or later.

The next day we went a little ways up the road to a little less rocky beach and played in the water a bit, skim boarded (don't know if thats how you spell it), and played ultimate frisbee! Ok ok if you know me I am quite the competitor.. with that being said I will go to any lengths for my team to win! Well anyways apparently I pretty good on defense and I totally knocked my buddy Klefsky down while trying to knock the frisbee away! And the next time we played i tried to cool down a little and while we were playing i fell on all 4's and tripped this guy Josh that was going for the frisbee... totally on accident both times! They told me that they didn't know we were playing tackle frisbee... OOOPS!!! :)

The next day which was Monday we went to a different beach which is where we had lots of fun...except for one thing!!! Well we went to ocean side... and well I was walking in the sand and got freaking tar on my foot!!! Can you believe that?!?! I was definitely ticked while everyone else laughed at me trying to scrape it off with a rock! Later when i got home my dad told me how to get it off... that would've been useful 5 days earlier! We went pretty far in and Gentry taught me how to get under a wave so it doesn't take me with it... that was definitely interesting... Im not so good. Oh well... They also tried to teach me how to body surf... which again Im not so good at! haha Well I guess that just means I have to go back! haha

After the beach Gent and I had the grand plan to go to the store not to far away... But you see how would we get there... oh you know the one and only RAZOR SCOOTERS!!! Me and Gentry got some to go to the showers with so we didn't have to walk and we wanted to put them to some good use and the store wasn't that far away but we did have to go down this really steep hill and lets just say it wasn't a very happy ending for one of us!

Yup.... he landed his butt in the emergency room! He broke his elbow, hand, and cracked part of his knuckle on his pinky and got 3 stitches in his chin!!

Here are his hands and of course he broke his right hand so know he is exciting to become ambidextrous!!

And here is the gash in his chin!! He had 2 nurses fighing over him... they didn't want to give him up... im not kidding! It was ridiculous!

He was definitely bummed this happened 2 days into our trip... but I was fine! I don't know how many more waves i could've taken! Those things can be pretty brutal!

We also went to Sea World! I loved loved loved it!! It was so awesome!! I have pictures just mostly the animals and im to annoyed with putting picture on here!

The last full day we were there we went shopping and I got 4 pairs of vans for 70 bucks!! SaWeet deal huh?!?! I was way excited!! I left cali with 5 new pairs of shoes!! I think me and Gentry are in for some trouble... we may end up having kids addicted to shoes!

I am so glad I went on this trip!! It was such a blast!! I definitely needed a Vay-K!!! Life can get so stressful some times! And its nice to get away and relax with friends!

On another note... for those of you who don't know.... I will do a shout out for my lame-o sister Some to the ERRRRR!! AKA Sommer!! {She's only lame cuzzz she is private} bahaha jussss kidding sisterWell anyways she is PREGO!!!! I am so excited!!

Sometimes....

Sometimes I'm bad a spelling,

Sometimes I am HORRIBLE at pronouncing words and get nervous when I have to read outloud,

but why think this way!

Most of the time I'm Happy and Giddy,

Most of the time I act like a little girl excited to see a Disney Princess,

Most of the time I like to sing in the car with the music loud to bother the car next to me or to see their reaction to my girly music,

Most of the time I like to go to work just so I can see what funny thing my boss is going to do that day,

Most of the time I like to tell jokes from "Laffy Taffy" or learn the "New word of the day",

Most of the time I like to talk about my day and tell stories,

Most of the time I am good at saying all my prayers during the day,

Most of the time I am good at reading my scriptures every night and understanding them,

Most of the time I am a good listener and think I give pretty good advice,

Most of the time I can make people smile,

Most of the time I like to act like a NASCAR driver in my 4 runner,

Most of the time I like to go 4 wheeling and think I'm cool because I have a car with 4 wheel drive and can drive stick,

Most of the time I think i am pretty smart,

and.....

I know I am a daughter of God,

I know I am special,

I know I can succeed in anything I put my mind to,

I know I can make good choices,

I know I am a good person,

I know I am not perfect but try my very best,

I know I am here for a reason,

I know I have a family that loves me,

I know I have friends that love me,

I know I have a ward that loves me,

I know I have been blessed with many amazing gifts in my life,

I know that few will read this but it will make me feel so much better writing it!

Life is hard but I try my very best. I know other things can get in the way and we can lose our focus but I will always try to be successful in all I do. My dad always said, "If you do it right the first time, you wont have to go back and fix anything"! I have always remembered him saying that to me and my sisters! So all my life thats what I have tried to do. Do things right the first time and make good decisions. Thats what I am going to try to do this year... try to make my "Sometimes" list a little shorter and make my "Most of the time" to "All of the time"! I think in the long run it will make my life better and me better!

Im Happy about......

* Missy's little Princess birthday party!!!! SHE IS 1!!!! boy has the time flown! I love this girl more than i ever knew i could!! She makes me so happy and i love spending time with her each and everyday! Im happy they live so close to me that i can see her whenever i want... and that my mom watches her so i see her cute little face in the morning even if she is grumpy because she has teeth coming in!!



* That in church today we talked about temples in nursery and they each got to pick a picture and Izzy was on my lap and goes "how silly this isn't a temple... this is a castle!!" haha oh how i love my nursery calling!



* Waking up because i have the fan blowing on me and im freezing cold so i need to bundle up in my blankets! (this is the blanket i got for christmas last year and i love it!!)



* Im excited to go see these........



* I happy i got to spend time with these special people... and drink tons of LEMONADE!! :)



* That the MJ movie was actually really good, and im sad he didn't get to perform that show once..



* Thats its Sunday and I get to spend time with this boy... (yes i know i look hideous with this lipstick on)
